Our first two days in Independent Samoa!

Here are some pictures from my first two days in Independent Samoa. There's a giant waterfall, smaller waterfalls (which I jumped off of with my friends...awesome) and a giant ocean trench, which you can climb down a ladder to swim in. Also, the coastline is magnificent. At the bottom, we're having lunch at our beach house, where we stayed the first night in Apia, Upolu. Pictured from left to right is KC, Julia, Me, and Rosemary. The picture at the top of this post is of Thanh, Julia and KC at the ocean trench. We had a blast!

  1. That looks AMAZING. I'm glad you got to take a vacation and have a break and eat good (or mediocre, oh well) food!

When you're jumping off waterfalls and sleeping on the beach, please think of us here in NYC freezing our butts off! It's been at or below freezing for a couple weeks now with no end in sight. Actually today was right around 32 degrees and it felt pretty good compared to the 25 degrees we'd had. I only go outside looking like the little brother from A Christmas Story.

Plus side, no mosquitos here! You're looking fab, by the way. And please tell Julia her Indiana Jones headlight is aces! If I were a rodent I would not mess with someone so well-equipped.
